Privacy Policy

This website, redlined.cc, is run by Redlined Car Club Incorporated (“the club”, “we”). Questions about this policy go to redlinedcarclub@gmail.com.

What we collect

There are no accounts on this site. We receive personal information only when you choose to send it, and through analytics if you allow it:

• Contact form: your name, email address and message.
• Sponsor request: your name, email address and address, plus a phone number and comments if you give them.
• Mailing list: your email address and which page you signed up on.
• Email: whatever you send if you write to us directly.

Form submissions are emailed to the club’s inbox and are not stored on this website. We use them to reply to you, to consider sponsorships, and to send the mailing list to people who joined it. To stop spam, each form is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, and your IP address is held for up to one minute to limit repeated submissions; it is then deleted automatically.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they find the site. It asks first: until you accept in the cookie notice it runs in a cookieless mode that sets no analytics cookies, and if you decline it stays that way. Decline is as easy as Accept.

If you accept, Google Analytics records the pages you view, the site that sent you, your approximate location, and your device and browser type, and sets cookies to recognise a return visit. Your answer itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage. You can change it at any time on the cookie policy page, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Merch orders

Club merch is sold, printed and shipped by Spreadshirt through the club’s Spreadshop. Orders and payment are handled by Spreadshirt at its checkout, under its own terms and privacy policy. The club never sees your payment details.

When you add something to the cart, this site sets one cookie holding an anonymous Spreadshirt basket number, so your cart survives a page reload. It holds nothing about you and expires after 30 days. The shop also remembers, in your browser only, which designs you looked at recently, to suggest related items in the cart; that list never leaves your device.

Third parties

These are the services this site uses that receive information from your visit:

• Cloudflare. Hosts and serves the site, protects it from abuse, and emails what you send through our forms to the club’s inbox. It necessarily processes your IP address and request details (the page, your browser) to deliver each page. Their privacy policy
• Cloudflare Turnstile. The spam check on our forms. It loads only on pages with a form and checks that a person, not a bot, is sending. Their privacy policy
• Google Analytics. Counts page views and how visitors find and move through the site — and only after you accept analytics in the cookie notice. Their privacy policy
• Spreadshirt. Makes, ships and takes payment for merch orders. Shop pages load product photos from Spreadshirt’s image servers, and the cart and checkout run on Spreadshirt, which receives your order and payment details there. Their privacy policy
• Instagram (Meta). Some blog posts link to Instagram videos. Nothing loads from Instagram unless you choose “Show it here” on a post, and then Instagram’s own policy applies to what it collects. Their privacy policy

Links to other sites, including our sponsors and social media, take you to services with their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Your choices

Email redlinedcarclub@gmail.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, or to leave the mailing list. We will honour a deletion request whether or not a law requires it.

Changes

When the site starts doing something new with your information, this page changes at the same time and the effective date above is updated.
