Print-on-demand, certified blanks, and what that does and does not fix.
Print-on-demand exists here for a plain reason: nothing is made until somebody wants it, so there is no unsold run to discount, warehouse or destroy. That is a real reduction in waste and it is also not a complete answer.
The blanks carry third-party certification — OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for tested absence of harmful substances, and amfori BSCI audits on supply-chain labour standards. Those are the manufacturer’s certifications, held by Spreadshirt, Inc. and their suppliers, not ours.
What we will not claim: that a printed shirt is carbon neutral, or that buying one offsets anything. It is a shirt made on demand from certified stock, which is better than the alternative and is not the same as harmless.
